The ABS (absolute) rotary sensor eliminates the need to perform origin setting
each time the power is turned on, letting you start measuring straight away.
Furthermore, with no possibility of over speed errors,
a higher level of reliability is delivered.
Body heat transferred to the instrument is reduced
by attaching a heat resistant cover (supplied as standard),
minimizing the error caused by thermal expansion of the frame
when performing hand-held measurements.
Function lock feature: Locks zero set and preset functions
to prevent the origin point being changed by mistake.
Preset feature:set up a measurement origin.
Zero set feature: the clearance of an indicated value. It can be performed in arbitrary positions, and a comparison measurement can be done comfortably. Even after carrying out a zero set, it can return to the absolute-value measurement.
Hold feature: anchoring of an indicated value.
The minimum labeled-amount change feature: The change of the minimum beam of an indicated value can be performed. it can change to a 0.5-micrometer display from 0.1-micrometer.
ON/OFF feature: a power can be turned OFF after the end of a measurement. Even if it turns OFF, an origin and the position of zero are memorized.
Auto power-off feature: even if it forgets to turn off, when the state where it is not used for about 20 minutes continues, it is automatically turn off.
Output of measurement data feature: Construction of a statistical-process-control system and an instrumentation system can be performed.
Failure alarm feature: if overflow and error occur, an error message should be displayed on a display screen and a measurement function should be stopped. A measurement is not continued by mistaken display.
Moreover, if the residual quantity of a storage battery decreases, before being in a measurement improper, a storage-battery mark will light up, and it will tell that the storage battery is exhausted.
